Dieses Gerät hat 2 USB-Schnittstellen (Hauptanschluss und Zusatzgeräte).

- Sind die USB 2.0 oder 1.1?
- Ist der Hauptanschluss für den PC?
- Kann ich an den Nebenanschluss z.B. einen Memorystick anschließen?
- Wie kann ich aufgenommene Filme an den PC bzw. einen Memorystick oder externe USB Festplatte übertragen?

Die USB´s sind 2.0, alles andere wäre heutigen Stand der Technik nicht geeignet.

Die USB- Übertragung zum PC geht aktuell (11.12.05) noch nicht, das soll erst mit dem nächsten Softwareupdate in den nächsten Tagen/Wochen kommen. Derzeit kann man (wie ich selbst in anderen Foren von Anwendern des Geräts gelesen haben) nur einen USB-Stick oder eine externe USB-Festplatte an das Gerät anschliesen und dahin übertragen !!

USB- Verbindung zum PC geht jetzt !!

Mit der Software 1.2 kann man externe Festplatten (im FAT32 Format) anschließen, auf die man und von der man Daten (auch MP3's) kopieren kann. Allerdings funktioniert dies in Moment nur mit USB 1.x Geschwindigkeit (Software bedingt).

Ich bin mir aber derzeit auch nicht ganz sicher welches USB- Format unterstützt wird...

Ganz ehrlich habe ich an meinem PC nur USB 1.0, kann also dies hier gar nicht testen !! Wird aber bei meinem nächsten Update (neuer PC !!) auch beseitigt !!

Ich probiere jetz scho ziemlich lange mein Inverto IDL7000 an mein PC anzuschliessen. Ich kann IDL7000 PC Suite einfach nicht mit meinem Receiver koppeln. Und was für ein "drive letter" soll ich angeben. Mein Receiver wird nicht mal als Gerät erkannt. :(
Und mein Receiver über OTA abzudaten ist mich auch nicht möglich. Es funzt einfach nicht mit diesem "5 sec. press and hold" beim Einschalten.

wenn Du deinen Receiver noch nicht über das Menü updaten kannst, dann hast du eine sehr alte Software auf dem Gerät. Erst mit der neuen Software kann das Gerät per PC verbunden werden.

Das updaten läuft folgendermaßen.
Gerät am Hauptschalter ausschalten, kurz warten, dann wieder einschalten und praktisch im selben Moment den Standby Knopf drücken und auf jeden Fall länger als 5 Sekunden gedrückt halten. Dann steht "OTA 0%" im Display.

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe eine extene USB-Festplatte (1.1/2.0) die ich an meinen neuen Inverto anschliessen möche, um Daten auszutauschen. Leider wird diese nicht angezeigt. Fileformat der Platte ist FAT.
Update des Inverto habe ich vorher gemacht.

Hat hier vieleicht jemand einen Tip für mich, oder bin ich einfach nur zum dumm?

HI. I'm sorry but I'm from France and I don't understand everything (7 years of German at school is not enough !!!!!).

So, let's suppose that I own a Inverto 700 pvr. I have a film or a program, I transfer it to my computer and it's a .*ts file. What can I do with this file ?? Can I convert it to mpeg ? With which softaware ? Is it easy ? Do my DVD-burn software recognise .*ts files ("easy DVD creator", already in my computer wher I bought my HP Media Center) ?

And what is this new 1.3 software that Mr.Techno-com told me about ? Is this going to tranfer mpeg files to my computer ???

the *.ts file is already a MPEG2 file, there is no new encoding needed, in most cases it´s also DVD-ready (720x576). The only thing you must do is to seperatre the streams, devide video and audio. This will also correct possible dropouts during recording. ProjectX is the best program to do this.
There are only two software I know who can use the TS file directly

There are no new features in 1.3 that will help you to copy TS files.

ProjectX 0.90.04 is the actual and newest version, also you will need a Java Developer Kit to compile it or you searching the web to find a already compiled version.

1. Gibt es, außer der FAT32 Formatierung, beim Anschluss einer externen Festplatte noch etwas zu beachten oder einzustellen? Oder einfach an den USB Port anschließen und schauen, ob der Inverto die Platte erkennt oder nicht?

2. Lässt sich der Inverto so einstellen, dass Aufnahmen gleich auf die externe Platte geschrieben werden? Oder ist die USB Geschwindigkeit des Inverto dafür zu niedrig?

Hi. I received my Inverto 7000 today (thanks Tristan !).
But I cannot connect my PVR to my PC... I downloaded the newest version (I think it's the newest : 1.2.112.160).
I think you anwered this question a little higher in this page : I understood the question from "youngcut" but I didn't understood joeben's answer.

So what do I have to do for the PC suite to recognise the PVR ???

Connect your Inverto with the PC (Win2k or higher!!!). Windows will automatically recognise the Inverto, but you can´t access the harddrive.

After that you have to start the PC Suite, there you must enter the drive letter the Inverto got and choose that it´s connected via USB.
Now you have to close the PC Suite and restart it.

I explained him how to start a forced update, but write you got already 1.2 112.160 downloaded to your Inverto, so you don´t have to do this.

But If you got an older version, you need to got your dish pointed to Astra19,2, there you will receive newest updates.

How to Update:
Power off with the mainswitch on the back, wait some seconds .....
Now Power him on, at the same time you power him on you have to press and hold the standby button on the front. After some seconds (~7sec.) you will see "OTA 0%" at the display

I did what you said but it didn't worked at all. Finally, I did the "7 second thing" with the OTA on the front and now, everything works and it's a terrific PVR !!!

the next time a new update will be available you can start the download in the Menu of the Inverto.
If you activate it you will also get a message if there are new updates waiting to to get downloaded.
How to activate notification:
"Settings" --> "User Prereferences" --> "Auto Upgrades" --> "Notify"

You know, I downloaded the new software twice !! When I plugged the Inverto, I had this type of message and I started downlaoding the newest version. But nothing changed !

But when I forced it with the "7 second thing", everything turned perfect !

That´s strange, normally you should get no problems.

Bei mir hat übrigens der Software-Download übers Menü die ältere Version (112.130) installiert, erst der "erzwungene" Download die neue 160. Keine Ahnung warum...

Das war ein Bug in der 112.130.
